Abstract
⺠Bayesian molecular phylogeny of 80 species (73% of all currently described species). ⺠A new classification of the Rapaninae: we assign 109 species to 28 genera. ⺠A new genus is described. ⺠Many familiar genera are restricted or redefined; Thais is monotypic. ⺠Rapaninae date from the Late Cretaceous, but most of the genera to the Miocene.
