Abstract
- Trypanosomatids parasitizing Brachycera are host specific on the level of the genus.
- All clades (including Angomonas) are cosmopolitan.
- 24 New typing units of trypanosomatids (36 in total) were identified.
- Multiple infections of brachyceran hosts are common (33%).
