Abstract
⺠We estimate relationships and divergence times for the diverse Asian-Pacific gecko genus Cyrtodactylus. ⺠Cyrtodactylus is monophyletic only if the Indian genus Geckoella is also included. ⺠Divergences among major Cyrtodactylus lineages span nearly the entire Cenozoic. ⺠Biogeographic reconstructions depict a west-to-east pattern of colonization. ⺠Cyrtodactylus colonized Australia twice, via both New Guinea and the Lesser Sundas.
