Abstract
⺠We use phylogenetic estimates to investigate a major component of fig-wasp communities, subfamily Sycoryctinae. ⺠We sequence the majority of genera, sampling on a global scale, and put forward a new tribal classification system. ⺠We investigate the role of host conservatism and host shifts in sycoryctine diversification. ⺠We provide age and region of origin estimates for the subfamily in order to discuss how it has radiated over Ficus.
