Abstract
⺠Tribe Euonymeae consists of at least six separate lineages within Celastraceae. ⺠Microtropis and Quetzalia are distinct sister groups that are sister to Zinowiewia. ⺠Monimopetalum chinense is an isolated and early derived lineage of Celastraceae. ⺠We describe a new species: Brassiantha hedraiantheroides A.J. Ford. ⺠We erect a new genus (Dinghoua R.H. Archer) for Euonymus globularis.
