Abstract

âº Species tree analyses resolve phylogenetic relationships in Bufo bufo species group. âº Overall agreement between mtDNA and nDNA markers. âº The evolutionary history of B. bufo dates back to the Miocene. âº Bufo spinosus is distributed in N Africa, Iberian Peninsula and France.
