Abstract
► A structure-based alignment of DHFR from 22 species was performed. ► A metric for the degree of conservation at each site in the alignment was generated. ► Differences were identified in active site and non-active site residue sequence variability. ► The phylogenetic tree generated from the alignment was comparable to the canonical one.
