Abstract
⺠Canthonini dung beetles in Madagascar descend from three independent overseas colonisations. ⺠Each of the lineages radiated in the forests, with different levels and forms of ecological diversification. ⺠In two of the radiations speciation was mostly allopatric, but one largely evolved through an adaptive radiation.
