Abstract
⺠The Neotropical damselfly of the genus Polythore shows incongruence between classical morphological and genetic characters in odonates. ⺠Two divergent lineages of this genus at the eastern Colombian Andes without apparent morphological, made them good candidates of possible cryptic speciation. ⺠The mechanical isolation that distinguish odonates seem not to be the force maintaining the lineages integrity.
