Abstract
⺠We test reproductive potential in Polistes dominulus wasp workers. ⺠Juvenile hormone treatment and adult nutrition increased reproductive potential. ⺠Larger workers had higher reproductive potential than smaller workers. ⺠Worker body size is associated with fat content. ⺠Reproductive plasticity may originate with mechanism common in solitary insects.
