Abstract
⺠We isolated a novel gene, AccGSTZ1, from Apis cerana cerana. ⺠We examined changes in the AccGSTZ1 mRNA level in response to temperature challenges. ⺠AccGSTZ1 transcription was significantly upregulated under oxidative stress. ⺠Antioxidant activity of the recombinant AccGSTZ1 protein displayed long-term resistance under oxidative stress.
