Abstract
⺠Many Curculio sikkimensis larvae kept at 20 °C completed prolonged diapause after a brief chilling. ⺠Exposure to 25 °C after 20 °C incubation decreased the percentage completing diapause after a brief chilling. ⺠Reexposure to 20 °C after 25 °C incubation increased the percentage completing diapause after a brief chilling. ⺠Chilling time for diapause completion decreased after incubating at 20 °C and increased at 25 °C. ⺠Diapause intensity in C. sikkimensis changes reversibly with temperature.
