Abstract
⺠Transcriptional regulation of Torso gene in Bombyx prothoracic glands was investigated. ⺠PTTH treatment in vitro time-dependently affected Torso mRNA levels. ⺠Methoprene application delayed a decline in Torso mRNA levels. ⺠Injection of 20-hydroxyecdysone stimulated Torso mRNA levels. ⺠Torso mRNA levels were also shown to be nutrition-sensitive.
