Abstract
► Chitosan beads were used as artificial hosts to collect the venom of A. ervi. ► A. ervi γ-glutamyl transpeptidase (γ-GT) was mostly found in the artificial hosts. ► Proteomic approach allowed to estimate the quantity of γ-GT injected into aphid. ► An enolase attributed to the eggshell was recorded shortly after wasp oviposition. ► This study provides new tools and data to elucidate parasitoid venom factors.
