Abstract
⺠Stage III mosquito ovarian follicles are cultured in PBS-based medium for 24-30 h. ⺠Time-lapse movies showed dynamic follicle elongation from oval to long mature shape. ⺠Cytochalasin D or colchicine inhibited normal follicle elongation. ⺠Actin fibers or microtubules might be involved in this active morphological change.
