Rho GTPase activity in the honey bee mushroom bodies is correlated with age and foraging experience

► Mushroom body Rac activity increased transiently in honey bees shortly after the onset of foraging. ► Mushroom body RhoA activity decreased transiently in honey bees shortly after the onset of foraging. ► RhoA activity was correlated negatively with age of foraging onset. ► Differences were observed in RhoA, but not Rac, activity in distinct periods of summer.
