Abstract
⺠Ae-FABP envelopes lipid droplets in host aphid hemocoel and parasitoid gut lumen. ⺠Ae-FABP is also found on the surface of the parasitoid midgut and epidermis. ⺠These two epithelia effectively absorb myristic acid. ⺠The FA transport rate is unaffected by the presence of Ae-FABP. ⺠Ae-FABP acts as a FA vector from the host lipids-digestion sites to the developing larva.
