Abstract
⺠Rates of temperature change have opposite effects on critical thermal limits. ⺠CTmax shows little response to acclimation. ⺠The response to 35 °C acclimation of CTmin is complete within 24 h. ⺠The time course of acclimation in Cyrtobagous salviniae is 2-3 days. ⺠Time course of reversal of acclimation > time course of acclimation.
