Abstract
⺠The MB11923 Minos insertion produces a strong hypomorphic allele of fondue. ⺠New fon null alleles were isolated and characterized for coagulation and survival. ⺠Lethality of fon mutations can be rescued by expression of the UAS::fonGFP construct. ⺠Loss of fon affects coagulation but not wound survival in larvae.
