Abstract
⺠The medfly Ceratitis capitata is one of the most destructive agricultural pests. ⺠A complete cDNA, 1482 bp long, encoding a putative α-l-fucosidase was amplified. ⺠The coding region encoded a putative protein (named CcFUCA) of 485 residues. ⺠This gene encode a protein express in gonad and non-gonad tissues.
