Abstract
ⶠThe seminal fluid of honeybees is remarkably efficient at keeping sperm alive. ⶠThe presence of proteins within seminal fluid and their structural integrity are crucial to keep sperm alive. ⶠThe positive effect of seminal fluid proteins on sperm survival cannot be replicated using generic protein substitutes in fructose activated sperm.
