Abstract
⺠A segment of the life cycle of Basidiobolus haptosporus could be elucidated. ⺠An association between B. haptosporus and a predatory soil mite was discovered. ⺠The fungus was not traceable in oribatid mites and in the surrounding soil. ⺠Morpho-anatomical features of an isolated strain of B. haptosporus are presented.
