Abstract
⺠Cooling effects of 15 wetlands are investigated in Beijing. ⺠Wetland area does not linearly correlate to the intensity of cooling effects. ⺠Spatial heterogeneity indicators including wetland shape and location significantly impact the cooling effects of wetlands. ⺠These findings may provide insights for ecosystem service evaluation and urban landscape design.
