Abstract
⺠Disturbed areas at Ft. Benning were used for military training. ⺠Disturbance enhanced growth of branches, needles, and growth rings of loblolly pine. ⺠Drought reduced growth of branches and needles and eliminated the stimulatory effect of disturbance. ⺠Disturbance had no effect on tree-ring complexity or developmental instability.
