Abstract
► We tested LFA infiltration and stability indices at multiple scales. ► The infiltration index proved to be a surrogate of water conservation at all scales. ► The infiltration index was very sensitive to small variations in bare-soil condition. ► The stability index only captured large variations in soil conservation potential.
