Abstract
⺠We modeled growth and mercury sequestration by Bolboschoenus maritimus. ⺠Biomass allocation and salinity tolerance parameters produced the highest sensitivities. ⺠Mercury sequestration was simulated under scenarios of environmental change. ⺠The largest reductions in sequestration were related to increased salinity scenarios. ⺠Results point to a decrease on mercury sequestration within this century.
