Abstract
► We improved ecological network analysis (ENA) for life cycle assessment (LCA). ► Depletion and increment are considered as export and import flows, respectively. ► We applied the improved ENA methodology to a forest ecosystem. ► Choices made in the ENA methodology can alter the resulting indicator values.
