Abstract
⺠Mechanistic models are needed to assess climate change (CC) effects. ⺠An individual-based demogenetic model for Salmo salar was developed. ⺠The model realistically reproduced general knowledge on S. salar population biology. ⺠The model is suited to assess the effects of CC on S. salar in further studies.
