Abstract
⺠A new high throughput protocol for soil PLFA analysis is presented. ⺠96 previously dried soil samples and blanks are prepared in 1.5 days. ⺠Results are not identical to those generated using a standard protocol, but do correlate closely across a range of soils. ⺠This method will be useful to laboratories performing large numbers of PLFA analyses.
