Abstract
⺠Microbial community function was impacted only at high doses of herbicide. ⺠Glyphosate was not preferentially used as C substrate in glyphosate-exposed soils. ⺠Molecular analyses did not reveal selective enrichment of bacteria due to glyphosate treatments. ⺠The results suggest that no adaptation is induced, probably reflecting co-metabolic degradation of glyphosate.
