Abstract
⺠We reviewed the e-alerts from 20 journals dealing with conservation ecology. ⺠We explored two major areas: habitat transformation and invasive species. ⺠We looked for topics vulnerable to dogma development. ⺠We discuss four applied management topics prone to dogma development. ⺠We provide a list of five good conservation practices to prevent this to happen.
