Abstract
⺠Madagascan giant tortoises are likely to have influenced ecosystem functions. ⺠Madagascar and Aldabran giant tortoises are closely related. ⺠We propose using Aldabran giant tortoises to restore missing ecological functions. ⺠It would be cost-effective tool to halting the ongoing extinction processes in western and southern Madagascar.
