Abstract
⺠Crossing structures increased freeway crossings by squirrel gliders. ⺠The wide variety of individuals crossing suggest functional connectivity may occur. ⺠The freeway impact was only partially mitigated relative to non-freeway sites. ⺠Long-term monitoring of structures is required to overcome the habituation period. ⺠Knowing how many individuals cross is as important as knowing how often they cross.
