Egypt's Protected Area network under future climate change

► We build species distribution models for Egyptian mammals and butterflies. ► We project these under future climate using two scenarios for several climate models. ► Areas were prioritised for conservation under future climate using Zonation. ► North Egypt and Sinai, largely unprotected now, were consistently prioritised. ► Lack of data is the main issue in countries such as Egypt.
