Abstract
⺠A mixed use landscape in Kenya supports a diverse (21 species) carnivore guild. ⺠Carnivore occupancy patterns revealed spatial and temporal partitioning. ⺠Apex predator occupancies were lower in more human-disturbed areas. ⺠Mesocarnivore occupancy patterns did not support mesopredator release hypothesis. ⺠Seasonal human settlements and grazing areas promote human-carnivore coexistence.
