Abstract
⺠In Australia, native invertebrates consume aquatic stages of the invasive cane toad. ⺠The predators are not affected by the toad's toxins. ⺠Some invertebrate species prefer cane toads to native tadpoles as prey. ⺠Native invertebrate predators can consume toad tadpoles at a high rate. ⺠Native invertebrate predators may affect cane toad recruitment.
