Abstract
⺠Colour has been absent from discussions of biological conservation due to its mutable character. ⺠Colour give a sense of place to human views of landscapes. ⺠Colour can thus be used to reveal and encourage conservation. ⺠The diversity of plant colour needs further exploration and annotation to assist conservation.
