Abstract
⺠Spatially-explicit stand management plans can enhance opportunities for biodiversity conservation in fragmented forest landscapes. ⺠We quantify time to population recovery of selected beetle species after disturbance by clearfelling. ⺠Beetle populations recovered to pre-disturbance levels after 8 years. ⺠Canopy closure can be used as a proxy for beetle recovery.
