Abstract
⺠We studied the ranging behaviour and breeding success of little bustard broods. ⺠Broods with sedentary pattern moved shortly in small areas with herbaceous vegetation. ⺠Broods with wandering pattern moved mainly through field margins covering large areas. ⺠Females with sedentary pattern laid earlier and showed higher breeding success. ⺠Vegetated plots and margins may mitigate harvesting impacts on precocial birds.
