Abstract
⺠Two bryophyte species confined to one of young, medium-aged or old growth forest. ⺠Species largely accumulate through time rather than replace each other. ⺠All common old-growth bryophyte taxa occur in secure reserves. ⺠Microhabitat specificity makes bryophytes better represented in reserves.
