Abstract
⺠We investigated zoning for protected areas in Wolong Nature Reserve, China. ⺠The zoning scheme could be improved to better protect the endangered giant panda. ⺠Zoning contained houses and roads to the development zone, but not livestock. ⺠Should combine zoning with conservation incentives to regulate individual behaviors.
