Abstract
⺠The effects of long-rotation in plantations on beetle diversity were studied. ⺠The beetle diversity, especially phytophages in canopies, increased with long rotation. ⺠Among ecological variables, naturally regenerated mature trees showed strong positive influences on beetle diversity. ⺠These regenerated trees contributed to habitat complexity especially in canopies. ⺠In long-rotation, naturally regenerated mature native trees in plantations are important for conserving native beetle diversity.
