Abstract
⺠Psammophilic plant species are highly mycorrhiza dependent. ⺠Growth benefits of mycorrhization of psammophilic plants are important in low fertility soils. ⺠Thymbra capitata and Halimium halimifolium do not develop in absence of AMF. ⺠The lack of AM colonization can explain the limited plant growth recorded in nurseries.
