Abstract
⺠This is the first study in which the fate of CrylAb protein was analysed in samples of different gut compartments separately: foregut, midgut, and hindgut. ⺠Additionally, we investigated the concentration of CrylAb in these samples by using DAS-ELISA. ⺠Cry1Ab protein was fragmented through the digestive system of Lumbricus terrestris (l.). ⺠The foregut can be localized to be the most important compartment for the fate of Cry1Ab protein during digestion.
