Abstract
⺠Sampling designs of baited remote underwater video stations are rarely optimised. ⺠We developed an optimal, cost effective sampling methodology for BRUVS in estuaries. ⺠Sampling precision was improved by increasing soak time rather than replication. ⺠Five replicates of 90 min was optimal, exceeding most current BRUV designs.
