Abstract
⺠Morphometric analysis shows strong philotrophy in three species of horseshoe crabs. ⺠Intrapopulation body shape variation is lesser in males than females. ⺠Sexual selection plays a role in the American species and one of the Asian species. ⺠There are also indications of natural selection in the American species.
