Abstract
⺠Nutrient limitation of seagrasses decreased with increased distance from ocean. ⺠The nutrient that was most limiting seagrasses varied among tidal creek sites. ⺠Microalgae was strongly nutrient colimited and varied spatially. ⺠No consistent among-site trends emerged for nutrient limitation for microalgae. ⺠Site-specific biological factors may drive spatial trends of nutrient availability.
