Abstract
⺠In Senegalese sole there is an influence of light-dark cycles in routine metabolism. ⺠O2 consumption of fasted individuals increases during the dark phase. ⺠Individuals are capable of shifting O2 consumption rhythms as a response of feeding. ⺠Individual metabolic rate is consistent under various physiological conditions (fasting, fed, day and night).
