Abstract
⺠Use of regional water scarcity factors reduced the WF of NZ dairy farming significantly. ⺠Use of catchment-specific characterisation factors are preferred for WF studies. ⺠Summing the different coloured waters into one WF-WFN reduces the relevance. ⺠Freshwater availability indicators must be complemented by degradation indicators.
