Abstract
⺠We employed two models to find the optimal strategies to control blackberry. ⺠Results show that rust (Phragmidium violaceum) is not worth introducing. ⺠Fewer number of control options are required when the infestation area increases. ⺠Chemicals can be replaced with mowing when the labour cost of spray increases. ⺠If the efficacy of chemicals increases, cheaper chemicals become optimal.
